Theatre-makers and creatives of all disciplines are invited to join us on Sundays to build creative skill through experimentation, collaboration and artistic discourse. Sundays with Wit is an accessible and inclusive space for established practitioners, emerging artists and curious non-professional creatives alike.
Sundays are run on a pay what you can basis, and if you’re unable to pay you’re very welcome to join the workshops for free. All payment goes towards artist fees, and helps us keep this program running.

23 February 2025 - Intro to Intimacy: Stage & Screen with Rebecca Fortuna
Learn the art of staging intimacy with creativity, clarity, and consent.
This workshop provides an introduction to staging intimacy, exploring consent, the role of an intimacy coordinator, and techniques for creating safe, authentic scenes that align with the director’s vision. Ideal for anyone involved in theatre or filmmaking, this workshop highlights how to create a respectful, communicative and collaborative approach to intimate storytelling.

ABOUT THE COACH
Rebecca (she/her) is a certified Australian intimacy coordinator trained by top industry professionals from the UK and US. She was amongst the first group of professionals to train in Australia with Ita O’Brien in 2018 (Sex Education, Normal People). In 2022 she travelled to New York to complete her certification with IDC, under the guidance of her mentor Claire Warden (Broadway, Gossip Girl) and Alicia Rodis (HBO).
Rebecca has worked on many film, TV, web and theatre productions as an intimacy coordinator, including: A Good Boy (Film), Flunk (Youtube Series), Dark Arcadia (Web Series) & Torch Song (Theatre); full CV available upon request. She has also hosted multiple intimacy workshops for organisations such as: RMIT, Howard Fine Acting Studio and Drama Victoria; educating actors, film makers, directors and teachers on intimacy and consent practices in Australia.
Rebecca’s 20+ year acting career enhances and informs her work as an intimacy coordinator because of her considerable experience on set, on stage and in the rehearsal room, working on a variety of projects.
